My Story
I’m a father first—raising two incredible kids who rule their school—and married to a remarkable woman who teaches our community’s children while holding our family together through every deployment and “quick trip.” She is my hero.
For over twenty years, the Army was my second family. I built unbreakable bonds in the hardest places on earth and learned what real leadership means when lives are on the line. Those lessons—building teams, solving problems under pressure, and putting mission first—still guide me every day.
Everything I do is rooted in faith, family, and a relentless focus on people. I develop leaders, strengthen teams, and positively impact lives—whether defending the nation or shaping our community’s future.
My mantra: Let’s go together.
I stay ready—10,000 burpees in a month for veteran suicide awareness, 12-hour physical endurance events, daily training with brothers who refuse to quit. We travel as a family, learning humility and quietly carrying Texan values everywhere.
I’ve failed often, learned faster, and always choose to fail forward with clarity and optimism. In 2026 I stepped up for my first campaign, running for Guadalupe County Commissioner, Precinct 2, as a true first-timer straight out of uniform. We came within just 307 votes of victory while earning 46% of the vote and making a real dent across the community. I’m deeply grateful for every conversation, every supporter, and the lessons that only strengthened my drive to serve.
Above all, I cherish the peace of home: laughter around the table, fresh croissants from the oven, and an open door for friends and strangers alike. If you leave our house hungry or unloved, I didn’t do my job.
That’s why I continue listening to the people of Precinct 2 and all of Guadalupe County, leading with the discipline I learned in uniform, and championing the practical solutions our families deserve—because I know what it means to serve. I’m more energized than ever to keep building teams, developing leaders, and delivering real impact right here at home. The best is still ahead.
