Who I Am
I’m a proud husband, father of two Navarro ISD students, and a retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer. After 20 years of service — including combat leadership, joint staff, and training & transformation roles — my family and I chose Seguin to put down roots, raise our kids, and finally have a home.
Like so many families here, our days revolve around school drop-offs, practices, homework, and the hope that our kids are getting the best possible start in life.
I believe in a daily growth mindset — always learning, always improving — and I’m grateful to be part of a community that values the same for the next generation.
Why I’m Running for Navarro ISD School Board
I’m running because I believe in a positive future for our children, the best for our teachers, and a community that leads by example. I want to bring practical, common-sense judgment, careful stewardship, and a steady focus on what matters most — helping every child learn and grow into the best version of themselves.
Local Control & Parent Input
The people closest to our students — parents, teachers, and the Navarro community — should have the strongest voice in the decisions that shape our schools. I will listen directly, engage openly, and ensure that authority stays local and accountable to the families we serve.
Stewardship of Taxpayer Treasure
Navarro is growing, and growth requires investment — but our tax rates are already among the highest. I have managed multi-million-dollar budgets with transparency and discipline, focused on getting the most out of every dollar rather than simply asking for more. Due diligence means careful priorities, clear results, and respect for the families who pay the bills.
Teacher Empowerment
Great teachers are the foundation of strong schools. We must trust and support them as professionals, remove unnecessary barriers, and give them the tools and respect they need to focus on what matters most — our students.
