Family trip to Alaska, 2026

Who I Am
I’m a proud husband, father of two Navarro ISD students, and retired U.S. Army Infantry Officer. After 20 years of service — including combat leadership, joint staff, and training & transformation roles — my family and I chose Seguin to put down roots, raise our kids, and finally have a home.
As a daily participant in our schools across the state and internationally, I’ve seen firsthand both the strengths and the challenges facing students and families. I believe strong communities start with strong families and excellent local schools. That’s why I’m committed to listening, learning, and working together to ensure every child in Guadalupe County receives the education they deserve.
What Matters Most...

Excellence in Education
Supporting policies that put students first, strengthen accountability, improve organizational effectiveness, and ensure every child receives a high-quality education focused on learning how to think, not what to think. This includes preparing students for success in college, career, or the military while addressing inefficiencies so resources flow directly to the classroom.
Responsible & Managed Growth
Smart, controlled development that protects our rural heritage, family farms, property rights, and small-town quality of life while planning for sustainable enrollment growth. We must grow responsibly so our infrastructure, schools, and services can keep pace without overburdening taxpayers.
Fiscal Responsibility
& Transparency
Careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars, rigorous oversight of bonds and spending decisions, and full transparency so families can see exactly how their money is used. Every dollar must be spent efficiently with clear results for our students and community.
